Janie Austin, Instructor
Janie Austin began dancing in 2005 and has focused extensively on Lindy Hop since 2008.
Janie brings her passion for dancing and her lighthearted spirit to the dance floor as both a follower and a teacher. Her goal is to encourage a fun and spirited environment for all those who attend classes while nurturing their love for dance.
As a lindy hopper, her progress has been quick, due to her willingness to learn, travel to workshops, and generally try anything (she recently performed in a pair of footed pajamas while holding a sock monkey). Lately, her focus has been on aerials.
Her compact frame and desire for speed are a perfect match for her natural grace and need to be airborne.
